4. What Are The Expo's Office Hours?

The Expo Center business office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, excluding holidays. We are happy to schedule after hours appointments in advance. You can schedule an after hours appointment by calling us at (219) 464-0133

5. What type of events are held at the Expo?

Big or small, we do it all! Wedding receptions, social events, corporate events, trade shows, car & motorcycle shows, boat shows, RV shows, horse and dog & cat shows, concerts, fundraisers, fairs, tractor pulls, seminars, meetings, circuses, and company picnics are just a sample of what we do.

6. How do I reserve a date?

Dates are reserved when we have received a non-refundable booking fee. We will use this booking fee as a credit towards your final bill. The easiest way to start your event planning is to complete and electronically submit a Request For Proposal to the Expo. We will then provide your information about date(s) availability, costs and options.

7. Can we bring our own liquor?

No, there is no outside liquor allowed on the grounds. The Expo offers a variety of bar service packages we will work with you to choose a bar package that will fit your needs and budget.

8. Are concessions available for events?

Yes. We have a list of approved licensed and experience caterers and concessions providers that you can choose from.

9. Is security required at events?

Security is required for events with overnight camping and ALL events where alcohol is served.

10. Does The Expo Require Insurance For Events?

We do require a general liability policy with a minimum of $1,000,000 coverage.

11. Does The Expo Offer WiFi?

Yes, we have FREE wireless internet.

12. Are The Expo Facilities Air Conditioned?

The Expo West, Expo East and the 4H buildings are heated and air conditioned. The Buggy Wheel Pavilion and the livestock barns do not have heat or air conditioning.

13. Where Do I Find Information About The Porter County Fair?

14. Where Do I Find Information About Upcoming Events At The Expo?

You can visit out Upcoming Events page to find information about the events that are open to the public, our gigantic indoor garage sales and our New Year's Eve all inclusive celebration. You can even sign up to get email or text notifications of events when they become available.
